Cyber Workforce Development

Cyber Workforce Management is literally setting the stage for how cyber is permeating *all* work roles (not just “cyber security”). Every job now, in one way or another, has a cyber element which means it requires some level of cyber competency. So! Maybe it’s time for all organizations to start seriously thinking: how do I build cyber into my competency models and career paths? If you need a kickstart- let me know!

Cybersecurity Isn't Different Than Regular Security

Is cybersecurity different, at this point, than "real life"? I feel like when you call it "cyber" it makes it sound more "virtual" than "reality", and I think that when we're trying to raise awareness and help people act safely, we're doing them a disservice if we at all separate cyber-security from our every day real-life security. Locking my house with a different key than I lock my car makes as much sense as it does locking my bank account with a different password than I lock my email. The core principals of what we know about being safe almost always convey very well to awareness in cyber. So here's my funny little take on that topic!
